Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
