Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 then he who transgressed 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
