Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
