[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
