What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
