Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
