Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 and preferred the present life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
