Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
