Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 But how are you to know? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
