[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
