What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
