(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
