Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
