Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
