Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
