What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
