Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 high above? 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
