Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
