Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
