[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 preferring the present life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
