Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
