[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
