Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
