Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 preferring the present life, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
