Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
