Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
