Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
