Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
