[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
