[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
