What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
