Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
