What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
