Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
