Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.
