Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
