[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
