Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
