(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
