▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
