Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 high above? 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
