[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
