He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 To him you give attention. 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 and fearfully, 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 NAY, VERILY, these [messages] are but a reminder: 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 exalted, purified, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 noble and virtuous scribes. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm! He creates and proportions him, 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 then makes him to die, and buries him, 21 then, when He wills, He raises him. 22 Not one – he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let man look at his food: 24 We let the rain pour down in torrents 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 and thereupon We cause grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and green fodder 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 as provision for you and for your cattle to enjoy. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 his mother, his father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 These will be the faces of the sinful disbelievers. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
