He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 when the blind man approached him, 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 To him you give attention. 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 8 and in awe of God 9 You neglect. 10 These verses are a reminder 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 Exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and pious. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 then We split the earth in fissures 26 Thereby produced grain in it. 27 And grapes and herbage, 28 and olives and palms, 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 for you and for your animals to enjoy. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 On the day when a man fleeth from his brother 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 These will be the faces of the sinful disbelievers. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
