He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 Because there came to him the blind man. 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 or have been reminded [of the truth,] and helped by this reminder. 4 For him who does not care, 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 And he who comes to thee eagerly 8 and who has fear of God, 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 (Contained) in honoured pages, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 noble and purified. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 then eased his path for him, 20 Then He caused him to die and be buried 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder, 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 And grapes and herbage, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 fruits, and grass. 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 mother, father, 35 his wife and his children. 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And some faces will on that Day with dust be covered, 40 and veiled with darkness. 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
