He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 As for him who thinketh himself independent, 5 To him do you address yourself. 6 though you are not to blame if he would not cleanse himself. 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 And hath fear, 9 From him you are distracted. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 Let him who will, pay heed to it. 12 (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and purified. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 Of what [stuff] has He created him? 18 Of a sperm-drop He created him, and determined him, 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 then makes him to die, and buries him, 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder, 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 And olive-trees and palm-trees 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 But when the great calamity comes 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 And his spouse and his son-- 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 some faces on that day shall be dusty 40 with darkness overspread: 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
