He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 and in awe [of God] 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So let him who pleases mind it. 12 (Contained) in honoured pages, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Let the human reflect on the food he eats, 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 and therein made the grains to grow 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 and olives and palms, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 every man that day shall have business to suffice him. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 but others will be gloomy 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
