He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 or take heed and derive benefit from [Our] warning? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 you attend to him, 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 him didst thou disregard! 10 No indeed; it is a Reminder 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 and angelic scribes. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 Then the way He made easy. 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 to yield therein corn, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 And olives and date palms, 29 And garden-closes of thick foliage 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 on the Day when each man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 and his consort and his children; 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces will shine, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 Blackness will cover them. 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
