He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting]. 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 or take heed and derive benefit from [Our] warning? 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 You pay full attention, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 and in awe [of God] 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 Exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 noble, pious. 16 [But only too often] man destroys himself: how stubbornly does he deny the truth! 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 Of a sperm-drop He created him, and determined him, 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 We poured water, pouring it in great abundance, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and Abba (herbage, etc.), 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 and be cheerful and joyous. 39 And faces on that Day! upon them shall be gloom. 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
