He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, 8 While he fears [Allah], 9 you pay no heed to him. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 and whosoever wills, shall remember it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 (Set down) by scribes 15 noble and pious. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what thing did He create him? 18 From a single sperm He created, then proportioned him, 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and clover, 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 Then when cometh the Deafening Cry 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Some faces will shine, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And many will be dust-begrimed, 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
